Sale of Unilever’s Mazola brand
Our client, Unilever, has announced today that it has agreed to sell its Mazola Oils brand in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Peter Kölln KGaA for an undisclosed consideration. Mazola is a high quality edible oils brand with leading market positions and strong brand equity. The sale is in line with Unilever’s global strategy to sharpen its focus within its Foods portfolio.
The deal is expected to close at the end of January 2015.
